The Beetha or Belo, Westmorland
Historical Description
Beetha or Belo, The, a stream of Westmoreland. It issues from Lily Farm, 5 miles E of Kendal, and runs 14 miles south-westward, past Bridgend, End-Moor, and Beetham, to the river Kent, ½ of a mile W of Milnthorpe. It makes a fall at Beetha Mill.'
