Historical Description
Whitley, a village in Coventry St Michael parish, Warwickshire, 2 miles SSE of Coventry. Whitley Abbey, the seat of Viscount Hood, is a handsome mansion dating from the time of Elizabeth, but enlarged and partially rebuilt in 1812.
