Historical Description

Nuthurst, a parish in Warwickshire, 2½ miles N of Henley-in-Arden, and 3 SSW of Knowle station on the Leamington and Birmingham section of the G.W.R. There is a post, money order, and telegraph office at Hockley Heath, under Birmingham. Acreage, 693; population of the civil parish, 101; of the ecclesiastical, 565. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Worcester; net value, £170. Patron, the Bishop of Worcester. The church was erected in 1880. There is a Baptist chapel.
