Newton and Biggin, a township in Clifton-on-Dunsmore parish, Warwickshire, 1½ mile N of Clifton village. It has a post office called Newton, under Rugby; money order office, Rugby; telegraph office, Clifton. Acreage, 1069; population, 220. Cave, the friend of Dr Johnson, and the originator of the Gentleman's Magazine, was a native.
