Historical Description
Tidebrook, an ecclesiastical parish in Sussex, 3½ miles NW of Ticehurst Road station on the S.E.R. It was constituted in 1858, and it has a post office under Wadhurst½ money order and telegraph office, Wadhurst Population, 691. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Chichester; gross value, £200 with residence. Patron, alternately the Vicar of Wadhurst and the Vicar of Mayfield. The church was built in 1856.
