New Groombridge, Sussex

Groombridge, New, an ecclesiastical parish in Sussex. It has a station on the L.B. & S.C.R., 34 miles from London, and a post and money order office; telegraph office, at the railway station. Earl de la Warr is lord of the manor. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Chichester; value, £200. The church, erected in 1884, is a small building in the Early English style.
