Kidbrook, Sussex

Historical Description

Kidbrook, the seat of the Freshfield family in Forest Row chapelry, Sussex, 2½ . miles SE of East Grinstead. It was built by Mylne, and the grounds of it laid out by Repton, for Mr Speaker Abbot, and it belonged for a time to the Nevilles.
