Historical Description
Eridge Green, a village in Frant parish, and a chapelry in Frant and Rotherfield parishes, Sussex. The village has a station on the L.B. & S.C.R., 37 miles from London, and a post and telegraph office under Tunbridge Wells; money order office, Tunbridge Wells. The ch;ipelry was constituted in 1856. Population, 757. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Chicester; net value, £146. Patron, the Marquis of Abergavenny.
