Denbies, Surrey
Historical Description
Denbies, a stately mansion, the seat of Lord Ashcombe, in the north-western vicinity of Dorking, in Surrey. It was built by the late T. Cubitt, Esq., and contains some fine oak carving. The heights above it command a view of the dome of St Paul's and the towers of Westminster.
