Historical Description

Redisham, Great, a parish in Suffolk, 1 mile N of Brampton station on the Ipswich and Lowestoft section of the G.E.R., and 4 miles S by W of Beccles. Post town, Halesworth; money order and telegraph office, Beccles. Acreage, 737; population, 169. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £36 with residence. The church, a small building of flint in the Perpendicular style, has two Norman doorways and a wooden belfry.
