Froghall, Staffordshire
Historical Description
Froghall, a hamlet in Kingsley and Ipstones parishes, Staffordshire, on the Cauldon Canal, 3 miles N of Cheadle. It has a station on the North Staffordshire railway, and a post office under Stoke-upon-Trent; money order office, Kingsley; telegraph office, at the railway station. It has a wharf, colour-works, and limestone crushing and corn mills. There is a Primitive Methodist chapel.
