Historical Description

Deepfields, a hamlet in Sedgley civil parish, and Coseley ecclesiastical parish, Staffordshire. It has a station on the Birmingham and Stafford branch of the L. & N.W.R., 3 miles S by E of Wolverhampton, and a post, money order, and telegraph office (T.S.O.) under Bilston. There are fireclay, brick, and iron works.
