Haddon Down, Somerset

Historical Description

Haddon Down, a hill near the mutual boundary of Somerset and Devonshire, on the border of Exmoor Forest, 5½ miles E of Dulverton. It has an altitude of 1140 feet, commands a very fine view, and is often visited in summer by pic-nic parties.
