Rhydycroesau, Shropshire
Historical Description
Rhydycroesau, an ecclesiastical parish in Llansilin,. Llanyblodwell, Oswestry, and Selattyn parishes, Salop and Denbighshire, on Offa's Dyke, 3½ miles W by N of Oswestry. It was constituted in 1838. Population, 401. For parish council purposes it forms part of Llanforda ward, and sends. four members to the Oswestry parish council. It has a post office under Oswestry; money order and telegraph office, Oswestry. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St Asaph; gross value, £210 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of St Asaph. The church was built in 1886 to replace a previous one.
