Gobowen, a place In Daywell township, Whittington parish, Salop, with a station on the Shrewsbury and Chester branch of the G.W.R. at the junction of the branch thence to Oswestry, 2½ miles NNE of Oswestry. It has a post, money order, and telegraph office under Oswestry.
