The Bach wy, or Mach wy, Radnorshire

Historical Description

Bach-wy, or Mach-wy, The, a stream of Radnorshire. It rises a little north of Llanbedr; fetches a compass round by the east; and goes west-south-westward, past Painscastle and Llanbedr, through some fine scenery, to the Wye, near Erward, 7 miles below Builth. Its length of course is about 10 miles.
