Dike Hill, Oxfordshire

Historical Description

Dike Hill, an ancient double embankment on the south border of Oxfordshire, at the confluence of the Thame and the Thames, adjacent to Dorchester. The lines of it are about 60 feet asunder at the bottom, and about, three-quarters of a mile long.
