Collins End, Oxfordshire

Historical Description

Collins End, a hamlet in the parish of Goring, Oxford, under the Chilterns, near the Thames, 5 miles NW by W of Reading. Charles I., while staying at Caversham, was allowed to play at bowls at a small inn here. A Primitive Methodist chapel was built here in 1886.
