Horsley, an ecclesiastical parish in Elsdon parish, Northumberland, on the river Reed, 3 miles NNW of Otterburn,. and 7½ N by W of Woodbum station on the N.E.R. Post town, Otterburn. The ecclesiastical parish was constituted, in 1883. Population, 256. The living is a vicarage in the-diocese of Newcastle; gross value, £242. The church is a modern edifice in the Lombardic style, with an apse. The-vicarage was built in 1884.
