Fenton, Northumberland

Historical Description

Fenton, a hamlet, in Wooler parish, Northumberland, near the river Till, 5 miles NNW of Wooler. It consists-principally of three farms. Fenton, the seat of the Lambton family, is a mansion commanding one of the finest views of the Cheviots in Glendale.
