Historical Description
Northampton and Banbury Junction Railway, a railway in Northamptonshire. It comprises a line 20 miles. long from theN.W.R. at Blisworth west-south-westward, via Towcester, Wappenham, and Helmdon, to a junction with the N.W.R. at Cockley Brake, near Farthinghoe-authorised in 1863 and opened in 1872.
