Historical Description

Moat Lane, a hamlet in Llanwnog parish, Montgomeryshire, on the Cambrian railway, at the junction of the Llanid-loes, Builth, and Brecon branch with the main line, near the river Severn and the Sarn Sws Roman Way, 4½ miles W by S of Newtown. It has a railway station called Moat Lane Junction.
