Llys Bradwen, Merionethshire

Historical Description

Llys Bradwen, a place in the SW of Merionethshire, 4¼ miles E of Bannouth. Vestiges are here of the residence of Eduywain-ab-Bradwen, cheftain of one of the Welsh tribes in the 7th century. The building appears to have been an oblong of about 120 feet.
