Paddington Canal, Middlesex

Historical Description

Paddington Canal, a canal in Middlesex, leaving the Grand Junction Canal at Bulls Bridge near Cranford; going eastward, by Northolt, Twyford, and Kensal Green, to Paddington; and communicating, through the Regent's Canal extension, by the Regent's Park, with the Thames. It was formed in 1795-1801, and is 13½ miles long.
