Norton Place, Lincolnshire
Historical Description
Norton Place, a seat in Bishop Norton parish, Lincolnshire, adjacent to Ermine Street and to Spittal-in-the Street village, 8½ miles W of Market Rasen. It belonged formerly to the Harrisons, belongs now to Sir H. A. H. Cholmeley, Bart;., and is a fine mansion of stone standing in a park of about 150 acres.
