Hawkshaw Lane, an ecclesiastical parish, formed in 1892, in the township of Tottington Lower End, Lancashire. It has a post office under Bury; money order and telegraph office, Tottington. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Manchester; gross value, £200. Patron, the Bishop of Manchester. The church of St Mary is a building in the Gothic style, and consists of chancel, nave, aisles, &c. There are Wesleyan and Free Methodist chapels.
