Capernwray, a hamlet in Over-Kellet township, Bolton-le-Sands parish, Lancashire, 3½ miles S of Burton-in-Kendal. The nearest station is Hest Bank on the L. & N.W.R. Capernwray Hall is the seat of the Martons.
