Historical Description
Welling, a village in Bexley and East Wickham parishes, Kent, 3½ miles SE of Woolwich, and 3 from Abbeywood station on the S.E.R. It has a post, money order, and telegraph office. Danson Park is a handsome seat in the neighbourhood belonging to the Boyd family.
