Under River, a hamlet in Seal parish, Kent, 3 miles NE of Sevenoaks. It has a post office under Sevenoaks; money order and telegraph office. Weald. Population of the ecclesiastical parish, 202. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Canterbury; gross value, £110 with residence. Patron, Lord Sackville. A church in the Early English style was built in 1867.
