The Lee, Kent

Historical Description

Lee, The, a rivulet in the NW of Kent. It rises near Farnborough, and runs about 10 miles north-north-westward, past Bickley Park, Snnderidge Park, Mottingham, and Lee, to the Thames at Greenwich. There is a hamlet and manor of the same name situated on this rivulet, in Bitherley parish, 2 miles NW of Bickley.
