Danson Hill, Kent

Historical Description

Danson Hill, a seat adjoining Bexley Heath, 3½ miles SE of Woolwich, in Kent. It belonged to Archbishop. Parker, and passed to the Boyds. The house was built for the Boyds by Sir E. Taylor, and the grounds were laid out by ''Capability" Brown.
