Balvast or Poolvash Bay, Isle of Man
Historical Description
Balvast or Poolvash Bay, a bay at the SW end of the Isle of Man. It opens between Scarlet Point and Spanish Head, and is 4½ miles wide at the entrance, and about 2½ long.
