Princessa Shoal, Isle of Wight

Historical Description

Princessa Shoal, a submarine chalky ledge off the E end of the Isle of Wight, near Bembridge Point and St Helen's Road. It is three-quarters of a mile long, and at one part has only 3 fathoms of water.
