The Frome, Herefordshire

Historical Description

Frome, The, a river of Hereford. It rises at Wallhill, near the boundary with Worcestershire, and runs about 20 miles southward past Bromyard and Bishop's Frome, to Castle Frome, and south-westward past Canon Frome and Yarkhill, to the Lugg, near Hampton Bishop. It receives the Leadon between Canon Frome and Yarkhill.
