The Dore, Herefordshire

Historical Description

Dore, The, a river of Hereford. It rises on the west-border of the county, 2¼ miles E of Hay, and runs 12 southeastward through the Golden Valley, past Dorstone, Peterchurch, and Abbey Dore, to the river Munnow, near Pontrilas.
