Historical Description
Woolton Hill, an ecclesiastical district in East Woodhay parish, Hants, 1 mile from Woodhay station on the G.W.R. It was constituted in 1849, and has a post, money order, and telegraph office under Newbury. Population, 855. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Winchester; net value, £230 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of Winchester. The church is a building of flint in the Early English style.
