Historical Description
Holmesley Walk, a tract in the New Forest, Hants, 5 miles SE of Ringwood. It has a station, of the name of Holmesley, on the L. & S.W.R., and is partly in Ringwood parish, but mainly extra-parochial. The part in Ringwood parish comprises 25 acres, and the rest comprises 3255 acres -includes Holmesley Lodge, Holmesley Inclosure Cottage, and three railway gatehonses.
