Ewshot, an ecclesiastical parish in Hants, near the Basingstoke Canal, 4 miles from Fleet and 3 from Farnham stations on the L. & S.W.R. It has a post office under Fam-ham; money order office, Farnham or Crondall; telegraph office. Church Crookham. Population, 441. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Winchester; gross value, £160. Patron, the Bishop of Winchester. The church was erected in 1873; it is in the Early English style.
