Historical Description
Blackwater, a village in Yateley parish, on the NE border of Hants, on the Blackwater river, adjacent to the Reading branch of the S.E.R. It has a station on the railway, 54 miles from London, a post, money order, and telegraph office (S.O.), and a Baptist chapel. Sandhurst and Wellington colleges are in the vicinity.
