Historical Description
Llanvedw, a township in Michaelstone-y-Vedw parish, Glamorgan, on the river Rhymney at the boundary with Monmouthshire, 5¼ miles ESE of Caerphilly. Post town, Cardiff; money order office, Castleton; telegraph office, Michaelstone-y-Vedw. Acreage, 2453; population, 275. Eupen'a Castle and Cefn Mably are chief residences.
