Talacre, Flintshire
Historical Description
Talacre, a seaport village in Llanasa parish, Flintshire, 1¼ mile WSW of the Point of Air, 3 miles N of Newmarket, and 7½ NW of Holywell. Good coal mines and valuable freestone quarries are in the vicinity. Talacre House is the seat of the baronet family of Mostyn.
