Caer Fallwch or CaeralTwch, Flintshire

Historical Description

Caer-Fallwch or CaeralTwch, a township and an ecclesiastical parish in Northop parish, Flintshire, 3 miles S by E of Flint. Population of parish, 791. Some of the inhabitants are employed in lead mines. There is a very perfect ancient British camp on Halkin Mountain, near here, called Moel-y-Gaer. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of St Asaph; net value, £240 with residence.
