Giles, St, Park, the seat of the Earl of Shaftesbury, in Dorsetshire, 2½ miles SW of Cranborne. - It was partly rebuilt in 1651. It was the residence of Anthony Cooper, created Baron Ashley and Earl of Shaftesbury, and the residence of the author of The following is a list of the administrative units in which this place was either wholly or partly included.
