Hornhill, Dorset

Historical Description

Hornhill, an eminence in the W of Dorsetshire, 2 miles NNW of Beaminster. A tunnel 200 feet long, formed in 1832, pierces the eminence, and takes through the road from Beaminster to Crewkerne.
