Historical Description
Sticklepath, a chapelry, with a village, in Sampford Courtney parish, Devonshire, 4 miles NE of Okehampton. station on the L. & S.W.R. It has a post office under Okehampton; money order and telegraph office, Okehampton, The living is annexed to Sampford Courtney. The chapel of ease was rebuilt in 1875. There are a Wesleyan chapel and a temperance ball and reading-room.
