Plym Bridge, Devon

Historical Description

Plym Bridge, a picturesque spot in the SW of Devonshire, on the river Plym, at the commencement of Bickleigh Vale, 3½ miles NE of Plymouth. A moss-clad old bridge gives name to it, a wayside chapel adjoins it, and a neighbouring hill commands a superb view over Plymouth Sound.
