Newbridge (Tavistock), Devon
Historical Description
Newbridge, a fine spot on the river Tamar, at the boundary between Devonshire and Cornwall, 3½ miles WSW of Tavistock. It takes its name from a picturesque bridge over the river. A Wesleyan chapel was erected in 1894.
