Maidencombe, Devon

Historical Description

Maidencombe, a hamlet in Stokeinteignhead parish, Devonshire, on the coast, in a beautiful dell, 3 miles S of Teignmouth. It contains several gentlemen's houses and a few farmhouses, and has a fine waterfall of about 80 feet and a romantic cove.
