Langrigg and Mealrigg, a township in Bromfield parish, Cumberland, 7 miles WSW of Wigton. It has a post office at Langrigg, under Aspatria (R.S.O.); money order and telegraph office, Aspatria. Acreage, 2138; population, 278. Langrigg Hall is a chief residence. There is a chapel of ease. Bricks and tiles are made.
