East Ottery Hill, Devon

Historical Description

Ottery Hill, East, an eminence on the coast of the E of Devonshire, in the western vicinity of Sidmouth, and extending northward to Chineway Head. It has, on a spur of it, an ancient British camp, called Sidbury Castle, and it offers fine rambling ground to summer visitors at Sidmouth.
